When Therapy Isn't Working: Part One

You made the decision to start therapy, and now things aren’t really going as well as you would have hoped they would go. Therapy is not only a very personal and private choice, sometimes it is hard to know what to expect when you haven’t ever been before. If you don't feel like sharing with others, it can be difficult to get the information you need in order to feel more prepared. If you are more familiar with what to expect, things may work a little more smoothly. Below are some things to know ahead of time before you start therapy. Most states have a boards that monitor people who have licenses. For example, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. My board is the Board of Behavioral Science
